Before you bring your tank: All cylinders must be within their certification date (good for 12 years from the manufacture stamp) and must be transported upright and secured in your vehicle. Out-of-date tanks can't be filled.

Refill FAQ

Do I need to bring my own tank? +

Yes. We're a refill service — we fill the tank you already own. We don't run a tank-exchange program, so you keep your own quality tank instead of swapping it for an older, rustier one.

Can you fill my motorhome or RV? +

If you have a fixed tank permanently mounted to the vehicle, visit our Winchester or Flemingsburg plants. Our Nicholasville location isn't set up for vehicles and can only fill removable/portable cylinders.

What do I need to know before I come? +

Two things: your tank must be within its certification date (cylinders are good for 12 years from the manufacture stamp), and it must be transported upright and secured in your vehicle. Out-of-date tanks can't be filled.

Do you fill 100 lb tanks? +

Yes, at all three locations. Just remember they're heavy when full — bring a hand and a way to secure them in your vehicle.
