Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring my own tank?
Yes. We offer a refill service, meaning we fill the tank you already own. We do not offer a tank exchange program. This ensures you keep your high-quality tank rather than swapping it for a potentially older, rusty one.
Can you fill my Motorhome or RV?
If you have a fixed tank (one that is permanently mounted to the vehicle), you must visit our Winchester or Flemingsburg plants. Our Nicholasville location does not have the dock setup for vehicles and can only fill removable/portable cylinders.
Can you recertify my expired tank?
Yes! Propane cylinders expire 12 years after the date of manufacture. If your tank is out of date, our certified technicians can perform a Visual Recertification on-site. If the tank passes the safety inspection, we re-stamp it for continued use. (Please note: There is an additional fee for recertification).
Do you fill 100lb tanks?
Yes, we fill 100lb cylinders at all three locations. Please note that these are heavy when full, so ensure you have assistance or a way to secure them in your vehicle.
